But it can get very expensive

Porsche announced the 718 Cayman GT4 back in 2020 as the highest performance version of the 982-generation Cayman - at the time anyway, as it was soon followed by the RS version. The model is a lot more powerful than the generation is replaces, and it's the first Cayman to develop more than 400 horsepower. Of course, as you probably already expected, there are tuners out there who think the GT4 can get a lot better. Frédéric Performance is one of those tuners, and its latest kit proves there is room for a lot more when it comes to the GT4.

From factory, the GT4 is equipped with a 4.0-liter flat-six engine that delivers a total of 414 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque. The sports car goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, while top speed goes up to 188 mph. Frédéric Performance is not altering the flat-six engine in any way, but it does offer a specially developed exhaust system with precision engineered and manufactured stainless steel manifolds. The end pipes measure 100 millimeters in diameter and combine stainless steel and carbon in different colors. The new exhaust is not only 12 kilos lighter than the original system, but it also adds 35 horsepower and 22 pound-feet of torque to the final numbers. As a result, the GT4 now delivers a total of 449 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. However, the extra power did not improve on-road performance, or so they say.

Frédéric Performance is also offering a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit that will improve the sports car's aerodynamic figures. Up front, there is a new three-piece carbon-fiber lip spoiler, plus new canards, wings, and air outlets made from the same material. Even the mirror caps are replaced with new ones from carbon fiber. Updates continue with new side skirts, a new rear diffuser and spoiler flaps, plus new carbon-fiber air intakes. The GT4 rides on a new set of one-piece rims finished in gold and sized 8.5x20 on the front axle and 11x21 on the rear axle. While the gold finish is offered as standard, customers can opt for any other possible color. The tuner is also offering an updated suspension provided by KW. you can choose between the V3 coilover suspension or the V4 Clubsport suspension.

The tuner announced no updates for the interior, but the listing includes a new set of floor mats with the Frédéric logo. However, updating the Cayman GT4 with all the updates offered by Frédéric Performance can actually becoming very expensive. Check the prices below to see how expensive:
