Canfield Tilt is a refreshing surprise. After spending some time on the CBF suspension platform, I know I am already a fan, but I would love to try it on Canfield's newest trail bike. What makes Tilt the most popular bike this year? Like Ibis, Canfield climbs and descends.

By combining the unlimited traction of the CBF suspension with a modern, upright seat position, Tilt’s climbing performance is better than any full suspension bike I’ve ridden in recent years. The short 165 mm crank arm may help maintain its power, especially the rough lines, which is a wise and thoughtful choice for the brand.

The sloping but sharp geometric figures will eat the path when tilted, feel planted and stable on rough things, and calm through the air. If you are looking for an all-round bike, Tilt is a very good choice.

The 140 mm Cotic Jeht surprised me in several different ways. This was the first steel full-suspension machine I had ever ridden at the time, and it was no heavier than the similar carbon model I was testing. Given the unique appearance and balance of steel, I always place this bike on a carbon fiber frame. This bike rides smoothly, is composed of light to medium thick things, and when you want some air, there is a lot of pop music. The steel platform with this structure feels more like a rabbit than I expected, and I have hardly changed the bike and component specifications. Although you can line up for endurance races on Jeht, it is more suitable for long mountain adventures and fast flying laps than chewing.

GT released the new Force this summer, adding the infamous high pivot and idler wheels to their Horst-link controlled endurance bikes. GT also provided Force with the geometry needed to maintain progress and win in the Enduro World Series. Drivers like us benefit from this progress.

I chose Force because it provides a very different feel from many endurance bikes. On the Force, you will be a pilot, not a jockey on a horse that is out of control. The Force is quick, responsive, and supportive, but will remain implanted when you need it.

The supportive suspension provides a good platform for the rider and a steeper seat tube angle, and the supportability means that the bike can leave the ground effortlessly, for those who like to take a break or jump over rocks when going downhill Let’s talk about the ultimate time-saving measures.

It's hard not to like Ibis Ripley AF. Of course you can be picky about something; for beginners, it is a 32-pound, 120-mm-travel trail bike. In other words, it is not very light. I think you can argue that the carbon fiber Ripley is more beautiful. Also, the placement of the bottle cage in the frame can be better. But considering the price of Ripley AF-which was tested at $4,100-they are still picky.

The price of the Privateer 141 I tested this year is the same as the Ripley AF, but the value is higher. This may be attributed to its direct-to-consumer business model, but the Ripley AF weighs better than the 141 and is better-round cross-country bike . I just compare the two in terms of value and components, because they are obviously very different bikes, and in the final analysis, I like it better for Ibis.

Compared to almost all bikes, I had more fun on 141 downhills, but the climbing of Ripley AF was as enjoyable as the downhill. DW-link floats on the furry lines, and compared to most 120mm touring bikes, this bike feels more confident. Therefore, Ripley AF is not only an excellent economic bike, but also an excellent forest bike.

I tested the Pyga Hyrax at the beginning of the year and I am still considering this bike six months later. This is one of the best rides in my recent memory, and I found it to be a great choice for large mountain rides and a great choice for local trails.

Hyrax has a rear stroke of 140 mm and a front fork of 150 mm. It is a longer-stroke 29er off-road vehicle that has a lively, almost endurance-like feel and clings to the ground during fast and rugged downhills. This bike is also excellent on narrow technical routes, with responsive handling and a fairly efficient pedal platform. I like the simple finish of the alloy frame. The weight of 32 pounds makes this bike close to the field of carbon fiber frames without the cost of carbon fiber frames.

Finally, I must yell at the build of the Pyga Hyrax I tested. The Rock Shox Pike fork is a dream as usual. The 210mm dropper makes my long legs very happy. With 820mm carbon fiber handlebars and 510mm XL frame, I found this bike to be a great choice for tall riders.

On the topic of chewing and chewing, Raaw Madonna is undoubtedly designed to eat it and spit it out at a steady speed. This bike is racially bred and is clearly designed for those who want to spend more time riding instead of struggling with its huge bearings and everything on the outside. From the Alpine DH route in the Alps to the finale circuit of the same name, and the local autumn route in Bellingham, Washington, I haven't found a track that Madonna can't resist. The large size I wear feels calm in terms of speed, and its huge hips can move around in any situation. The ultra-low BB gives it a locked feeling on the berm, which means increased speed on the trickier trails. I can highly recommend Madonna to anyone who wants to go downhill as fast as possible, and because of the steep seat tube angle, this sturdy frame can also climb hills well. Stay tuned for long-term comments on Madonna in the coming months.

YT Decoy was the runner-up of my favorite bike this year. In retrospect, its specifications are actually very similar to my favorite Pyga Hyrax. However, the decoy has a battery and a motor.

Decoy is an electric bicycle, it does not scream, at least from the outside. The 50-pound weight ensures that it feels like a downhill bike when going downhill, and YT's virtual four-link suspension design combined with the Fox suspension adjusted for electric bikes brings a refreshing playfulness to the bike feel. Thanks to the efficient and responsive Shimano EP8 motor and 540wh battery, the climbing process disappears quickly, effectively allowing the rider to travel freely on the top of the mountain and provide energy for multiple laps. It is not the bike I can see to replace all the mountain bikes in the stables, but it is definitely the bike I will choose on the most important days. Owners put YT bait in the stables, and it is forgivable that their bicycle parking lot is invalidated.
