Rock West Composites introduces new marine division before DEMA 2021

Rock West Composites (RWC) announced the launch of its new marine division before participating in DEMA Show 2021, the premier trade event for companies in the marine diving and water sports market. RWC will be at booth #1424. RWC targets original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and believes that its unique experience in high-performance industries and commercial markets will enable it to provide high-quality products that are both cost-effective and time-sensitive. RWC will focus on applications including carbon, glass and hybrid composite free diving fin blades, winding and filament winding rod spear tubes, speargun chassis, harpoons, harpoons, technical diving backplanes and mechanical component substructures.

At the DEMA show in 2021, the company will focus on showing a new product, namely composite fins, which will be exhibited in the new product show. The material is 100% carbon fiber, woven, unidirectional pre-impregnated epoxy resin. Laminates are quasi-isotropic, with strategic steps and balance. It is available in medium and soft elastic versions. The blade size is 752 mm X 210 mm and the weight is 235 grams. The attached tendon is a 22-degree angle designed to fit the most popular foot pockets. RWC fin blades are designed for high-performance continuous use conditions and are made of the highest quality carbon fiber, glass fiber and epoxy resin systems and processes.
